Janice Sue Hays, 73, of Quitman, died on July 9, 2021, in Tyler.
She was born on September 15, 1947, in Dallas, to Douglas Coke Hays and Edwina (Anderson) Hays. She grew up and lived in Emory, where she was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church. She moved to Quitman two years before her death. She was a wonderful caretaker and loved to read the Bible.
Ms. Hays is survived by her siblings, Virginia Potter and husband Rick, James Hays and wife Sharon, Brante Hays and partner Priscilla, and Albert Hays and wife Tina; and nieces and nephews, Holly Renee Hays, Gerrick Potter, Amber Stohl, Jason Howard, Nick Hays, Tino Hays, Tony Hays, Malika Hays, and Mariah Hays.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Arrangements were under the direction of Lowe-Gardner Funerals and Cremations in Quitman.
