Mr. Ballentine died on January 29, 2021, at Christus Mother Frances Hospital in Sulphur Springs. He was born on February 8, 1982, in Sulphur Springs, to Tommy Ballentine and Nina Sparks. He graduated from Miller Grove High School. He was a loving father, husband, brother, son and friend. He never met a stranger and made everyone feel welcome wherever he went.

He loved his wife and children very much. He loved to take the kids fishing at his Uncle Donald’s place in Miller Grove. His wife was the love of his life. He loved life and people, always having a smile, a joke, a hug and kind word. He surrendered his life to the Lord five years ago and spent much of his time talking with everyone who would listen to his testimony. He spoke in local churches and brought several messages at Daugherty where he was baptized and where he was married.

He is survived by his wife, Lesa; children, Sierra Dawn Ballentine, Lane Burns, and Michelle Burns; parents, Nina Sallee and husband Ronald of Miller Grove and Tommy Ballentine and wife Michelle of Calera, Okla.; brothers and sisters, Will Sallee and wife Ashley of Miller Grove, Amanda Ballentine of Mount Pleasant, Becca Vancura and husband of Muskogee, Okla., Tommy Don Ballentine Jr. and Tyler Ballentine, both of Lewsiton, Idaho, Samantha Petty of Omaha, Nebraska, Krystal Arrington and husband of Commerce, Bethany Sinclair of Muskogee, Okla., Jeremy McWilliams and wife of Wolfe City; grandparents, William and Bertha Sparks of Miller Grove, Sharon Ballentine of Oklahoma City, Fred and Patsy Robertson of Palestine; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins and friends.

Arrangements are under the directions of Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home. An online guestbook is available at www.wilsonorwoskyfuneralhome.com.

A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
