Tina Lee Graves

1958 – 2021

A memorial service for Tina Lee Graves, 62, of Point, was held January 22 at First Baptist Church in Point. Bro. Zachary Honzell officiated.

Mrs. Graves died on January 16, 2021, at her home. She was born in Dallas on June 3, 1958, to Lee “Ed” Jackson Davis and Geraldine (Beams) Davis.  She was a beloved community volunteer and member of the First Baptist Church in Point. She sang in the choir, taught Sunday school, was a “Sister in Sweat,” created the church’s newsletters and flyers, and volunteered at the Good Samaritan Food Pantry and senior center. She worked at the American Heart Association for over 30 years. She will be greatly missed by her friends, family and the community for her dedication to giving back. 

Mrs. Graves is survived by her mother; daughter, Kathryn Graves; son, Brian Davis and wife Violeta; ex-husband, Ron Graves; grandchildren, Angel Davis, Eric Davis, Brian Lee Davis and Briana Davis; nephews, Terry Lynn Barkheimer Jr. and Jason Louis Kennel; and great niece, Hanna Dodson.

She was preceded in death by her father; and sisters, Terri Lynn Trimble-Davis and Tammy Lou Davis.

Arrangements were under the direction of Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home in Emory.
