A memorial service for Argie Elmer Tutt, 86, of Point, will be held on Thursday, September 3, at 6:00 p.m. at Miracle Faith Baptist Church in Emory. Pastor Todd McGahee will officiate.
Mr. Tutt died on August 24, 2020, at his residence. He was born on September 23, 1933, in New Boston, to Ernie and Eva (Thomas) Tutt. He married Gennell on December 20, 1998, in Irving. He was a retired truck driver and a member of the Mars Hill Lodge and Duncanville Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed playing domino games such as 42 with friends, and he enjoyed hunting.
Mr. Tutt is survived by his wife of 21 years; daughter, Polly Walker; brother, Tommy Tutt; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Rachael Mitchel; sons, Alvin Tutt, Argie Elmer Tutt Jr., Charles Ray Tutt, and Larry Wayne Tutt.
A visitation will follow the memorial service.
