A luncheon in the memory of Martha Williams, 63, of Alba will be held for family and close friends on June 12 from 11:00 a.m.-1:-00 p.m. at the Family Community Center of Alba.
Mrs. Williams died in her home on May 19, 2020. She was born on August 17, 1956, to John Lumpkins Sr. and LaRue Lumpkins in Slayton. She was a graduate of Rains High School and a long-time resident of Rains County. She retired after many years of working at Walmart in Greenville and Lindale. Her kind and sweet soul will be remembered by so many who knew her.
Mrs. Williams is survived by her husband, Bennie Williams of Alba; children, Daniel and Martha Barnes of Mineola, and Jeremy and Stacy Gibson of Emory; grandchildren, Makayla Gibson, Corey Barnes, Allison Barnes and Adley Gibson; sister, Annette Caves of Emory; and numerous other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, John Lumpkins Jr. and Charles Lumpkins.
