A Celebration of Life for William “Bill” Reeves Baldwin, 82, of Yantis, will be held on October 2, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., at Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel, in Emory.
Mr. Baldwin died on September 21, 2026, in Winnsboro. He was born on October 26, 1943, to Leroy and Clara (Reeves) Baldwin, in Louisville, Kentucky.
Mr. Baldwin graduated from Waggener High School in Louisville, Kentucky, and went on to attend Georgetown College, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Plant Science in 1961. He first worked as a butcher at Winn Dixie and continued to excel in the field until he retired as a sales manager. After retirement, he continued working at Burnett Construction.
He served his country as a Staff Sergeant in the Army Reserves from 1968 to 1973.
His 57-year marriage to Lyn, and his fishing lure business, Bubba Baits, meant the most to him.
Mr. Baldwin is survived by his granddaughter, Kaitlyn Sauza and Zach; brother, Bobby Baldwin; sisters and brothers-in-law, Ron and Lori Fallon, and Kevin and Amy Oreilly; nieces and nephews, Erin Slaby and Bob, Katie Taylor and Janson, Jonathon Slaby, Addison Taylor, Maggie Oreilly and Keegan Oreilly.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lyn Baldwin; son, Jeremy Baldwin; and his parents.
