Kathryn Ann Gowins, 76, of Quitman, formerly of Emory, died on May 6, 2020. She was born on August 21, 1943, in Dallas, to Cecil and Margaret Kathryn Bowman Burchett. She graduated Salutatorian of her class of Rains High School, Class of 1961. She married Don Gowins in Emory on March 11, 1961. She was an office manager and did clerical work most all of her life. She enjoyed bowling with her family until she could no longer bowl. She attended Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church for many years.
Mrs. Gowins is survived by her husband of Quitman; daughter, Marianna Doyle and husband Kris of Emory; brother, Billy Joe Burchett of Germantown, Tenn.; granddaughters, Amanda Siebenthaler and Kaitlin Doyle; and numerous other loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Harold Burchett and Kenneth Burchett.
