Services for Domitila Arteaga Guzman were held on October 11, 2025, at St. John Catholic Church.
Mrs. Guzman, 79, died peacefully on October 8, 2025. She was born on May 12, 1946.
She dedicated 59 beautiful years to her husband, Ruperto. They were partners in every sense of the word, navigating life’s joys and challenges side by side until the very end. Domitila’s marriage was not just a milestone but a proud cornerstone of her life, one that she cherished deeply.
Her greatest pride came from her children and her family, who were the center of her universe. She poured her heart into raising her kids, instilling in them the values of love, respect and resilience.
She enjoyed gardening, nurturing flowers and plants with a tender touch that mirrored her caring personality.
Mrs.Guzman is survived by her husband of 59 years, Ruperto Guzman Guzman; children, Jose Alejandro Guzman, Estela Garcia, Esteban Guzman, Emilio Guzman, Maria Eduviges Guzman, Roberto Guzman, Jose Carlos Guzman, David Guzman, Celia Flores, Maria Lopez and Maria Tomasa Guzman.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesus Arteaga Madera and Felicitas Cabrera Castillo.
