Funeral services for Kathy Suzann Stephens, 59, of Emory, will be held on Friday, October 10, at 2:00 p.m., at Goggans Funeral Home in Terrell.
Mrs. Stephens died peacefully on Oct. 4, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was born on August 24, 1966.
She was rich beyond measure in the love she showed everyone and the love she received in return. She was well known for working at Emory Food Mart, when it was the only grocery store in town. She was kind, loyal, wise, and proud of her Texas roots, family, and especially her grandchildren. She will be missed by her large family and many friends.
She is survived by husband, Tim Stephens; daughters, Jesseca Williams and Kristi Kreuzer; mother, Evelyn Paddock; siblings, Arlis D. Horrocks and Nita Archambault; and five grandchildren, Christopher, Damien, Christian, Taylor and Kristiana.
She was preceded in death by her father, Arlis Horrocks; sister, Lois Prince; and best friend of 44 years, Veronica Limsky.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, Oct. 9, from 5:00 p.m.- 7:00 p.m., at Goggans Funeral Home in Terrell.
