Funeral services for Patricia Eloise Reep, 76, were held on October 1, at Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home. Interment followed at Prospect Cemetery.
Ms. Reep died on September 25, 2025. She was born on February 16, 1949, to Frank Herman Fackler and Dorothy Eloise Moore Fackler in Champaign, Illinois. She dedicated her life to her career as a 9-1-1 operator in Terrell and was a reassuring voice during moments of crisis.
She was known for her loveable personality, often bringing laughter to those lucky enough to cross her path.
Her involvement with the community extended beyond her work. She was a proud member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Quinlan and was a member of the Chapel Hill Baptist Church in the Bonanza community.
In her free time she enjoyed road trips, exploring new places, and enjoyed time spent watching her favorite Indiana Jones movies and Westerns. Her dog, Rascal, a border collie-lab mix, held a special place in her heart.
Ms. Reep is survived by, bonus mom, Barbara Hall and her family; sons, Christopher Hill and Melissa, and Thomas Hill; daughter, Dea Spradley; brother, Frank Fackler; 7 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Jeannie Turner, Joanna Fackler and brothers, Paul Fackler and Wes Fackler.
