A Celebration of Life for Randy Eugene Patterson, 68, will be held on Tuesday, July 15, at 3:00 p.m., at Calvary Baptist Church in Emory. Pastor Jimmy Jarrett will officiate.
Mr. Patterson died peacefully on June 20, 2025, at his home, while holding his daughter Kim’s hand. He was born on May 28, 1957, to Jerral Eugene Patterson and Marjorie Lee “Bobbie” Jacobs in Greenville.
He worked with his father at Patterson Refrigeration and Air for many years. He worked for Dal-Air in Point for 30 years where he retired as maintenance supervisor.
Mr. Patterson was an avid bass fisherman who loved the Lord and his family. In his younger years he had a dirt track car with his cousin Jimmy Feagan. As he got older his hobby was still racing but of RC cars. He always had jokes or a wisecrack for the ones he loved and he had many friends with whom he loved to fish, race and visit. His newest joy was spending time with his great grandson, Stetson Dwayne Green.
Mr. Patterson is survived by his daughter, Kimberly Denice Patterson of Emory; grandsons, Greggory Keith Jackson of Lubbock and Cody Dwayne Jackson and wife Kallie of Houma, Louisiana; granddaughter, Kori Michelle Jackson and husband Tristen Green of Sulphur Springs; great-granddaughter, Aubrie Wurzlow; and great-grandson, Stetson Dwayne Green.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, June 22, at 3:00 p.m., at Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home in Emory.
