Deborah Ann Thomas, 75, of Emory, died on May 11, 2025. She was born on August 10, 1949, to Bernard and Alice Reiman (Murphy) in Council Bluffs, Iowa. She graduated from St. Albert High School. She met Joseph Thomas and they were married on December 21, 1973. They moved from Council Bluffs to Rains County eight years ago.
She dedicated 46 years of her life to her career at Mutual of Omaha, where she was respected not only for her work ethic but also for her friendly demeanor that touched the lives of all around her.
She was a gifted cook and a skilled seamstress. She enjoyed scrapbooking and creating personalized cards for those she cherished. She took great pride in being a wonderful mother. Her legacy of kindness and creativity will forever be remembered.
Mrs. Thomas is survived by her husband; children, Benjamin Joseph Thomas and Erin Shiver; grandchildren, Autumn Thomas and Hannah Thomas; and siblings, Dan Reiman and Eddie.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and daughter, Angela Leer.
