A Celebration of Life for Tommy Lee Hanson, 76, of Lone Oak, was held on Wednesday, April 30, at Lone Oak Baptist Church, with Russell Mims officiating.
Mr. Hanson died on April 26, 2025, at his home in Lone Oak. He was born on July 27, 1948, in Greenville, to Lindon Walker and Johnnie Francis Smiley Hanson. He graduated from Lone Oak High School Class of 1966 and then served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam. He was a welder and a “Jack of All Trades.”
Mr. Hanson is survived by his wife, Michelle Hanson of Lone Oak; four daughters, Tonya Lohman and husband Shane of Jefferson, Ashley Key and husband Brack of Dallas, Charli Holt and fiancé Bryan Abbott of Bells, and Maggie Hanson and fiancé Trent Reed of Lone Oak; brother, Danny Hanson and wife June of Lone Oak; twelve grandchildren, Amber, Michael, Kattie, Jonathan, Skyler, Mason, Silas, Karson, Suzie, Jalynn, Ripp and Remi; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and son, Cory Lee Hanson.
