Funeral services for Virginia Lee Rogers Hass, 84, of Alba, were held on October 29, 2024, at Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba, with Rev. John Epps officiating.
Interment followed in Pilgrim Rest #1 Cemetery, Emory. Serving as pallbearers were Zackery Raymond, Kory Briggs, Max Langston, Jake Spoerl, David Brown and Matt Matula.
Mrs. Hass died on October 27, 2024, at her home in Alba. She was born on August 28, 1940, in Bonham, to Adair and Annie Bell Parks Rogers.
She lived in Mesquite before moving to Rains County in 1981. She was a member of the Alba Methodist Church and retired as an executive secretary for L3. Virginia loved her high school friends, traveling, craft shows, and especially enjoyed spending time with her cousin Betty Lyles. She loved entertaining her family and friends and was an excellent cook.
Mrs. Hass is survived by her daughter, Tracy Raymond of Alba; five grandchildren, Morgan Langston (Max), Kory Briggs (Anna), Kristen Emerline, Zackery Raymond, and Erin Raymond; three great-grandchildren, Barrett Gill, Kenneth Briggs, and Raylan Fullen; and numerous other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 44 years, Harl Dean Hass; son, Michael Todd Hass; and sister, Mary Lou Houser.
